First Sogang Rich Engineering Awards Ceremony

The purpose of the awards is to boost the morale of and reward faculty (including graduate students) for outstanding engineering education and research, in line with the core strategy of leading inquiry- and research-centred undergraduate education within the University under Sogang University's development plan Vision 2030.
The awards were divided into the Sogang Rich Engineering Teaching Award, the Sogang Rich Engineering Academic Awards (Best Research, Best Paper, Most Cited, Best Graduate Student), Sogang Rich Engineering Fellow and Sogang Rich Engineering Young Fellow. From the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Professor Kim Seung-wook was selected for the Sogang Rich Engineering Academic Award (Best Research); Professors Nang Jong-ho, Park Sung-yong and Park Soo-yong as Sogang Rich Engineering Fellows; and Professor Kim Young-jae as a Sogang Rich Engineering Young Fellow. Professor So Jung-min received the Sogang Rich Engineering Teaching Award.
The event was presided over by Vice President for Academic Affairs Song Tae-kyong on behalf of President Shim Jong-hyuk, and concluded successfully with 17 award recipients in attendance, including faculty and graduate students, along with Dean of the School of Engineering Choi Jung-woo.
