Professor Kim Seung-wook Receives the 2021 Woondang Academic Award Grand Prize for Papers from the Korea Information Processing Society

Professor Kim Seung-wook of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering received the 2021 Woondang Academic Award Grand Prize for Papers from the Korea Information Processing Society. Established in 1993 with the approval of the Ministry of Science and ICT (formerly the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications) for the advancement of information and communications and software-related technology and academic exchange, the Korea Information Processing Society is Korea's largest ICT-related academic body, with some 19,000 members.
The Woondang Academic Award was created by the Korea Information Processing Society and the Future and Software Foundation (chairman Lee Ju-yong) to honour the achievements of Lee Ju-yong, known by the pen name Woondang, founder of KCC Information & Communication, Korea's first IT services company. It identifies and honours outstanding individuals devoted to advancing Korea's ICT scholarship and technology.
