On Friday 25 March, the University signed a memorandum of understanding with Plantynet and Bluekite for the cultivation of outstanding AI·software (SW) talent and industry–academia cooperation, and agreed to establish an 'AI Security Programme' within the AI Convergence specialization of the graduate Department of Artificial Intelligence.
Under the agreement, the University, Plantynet and Bluekite will cooperate actively on ▲industry–academia cooperation with SW-related departments including advanced AI departments, ▲joint design of the curriculum for major courses, ▲joint operation of practical courses such as mentoring and internship linkage, ▲corporate support for cloud computing environments, and ▲strengthening medium- to long-term AI research capability.
To this end, Plantynet and Bluekite will jointly support two industry–academia scholarship students at the University each year, and the University will provide support on academic administration matters so that students can complete internship courses at those organizations during vacations. The first industry–academia scholarship students will be announced in May via the Graduate School website (https://gradsch.sogang.ac.kr/gradsch/index_new.html).
