The award ceremony for the 10th Student Portfolio Competition was held on 10 December in the presence of the Director of the Engineering Education Research Center (Professor Kim Joo-ho), the Chair of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Professor Kim Se-jun) and the engineering accreditation programme director for the department (Professor Kim Ji-hwan).

The purpose of the competition is to give current students the opportunity to prepare a portfolio for their future careers, and to develop their ability to manage documents systematically and communicate effectively.

Students who win the internal competition earn the right to take part in the National Student Portfolio Competition held by the Korea Engineering Education Research Center, affiliated with the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea (ABEEK).

The results of the competition were as follows.

● Gold Prize: Cho Kyung-ho, Computer Science & Engineering (certificate and 500,000 won; also awarded the Top Excellence Award and prize by the Korea University Engineering Education Innovation Hub Center)

● Silver Prize: Kim Sang-seop, Computer Science & Engineering (certificate and 300,000 won; also awarded the Excellence Award and prize by the Korea University Engineering Education Innovation Hub Center)

The Sogang Student Portfolio Competition is held annually between May and July, and any third- or fourth-year student enrolled in the University's School of Engineering (excluding those in their graduating semester) may take part.
