The Korea Computer Congress (KCC 2021) is an information science and technology conference at which the latest research results across every area of information technology — artificial intelligence, computer systems, information security and high-assurance computing and more — are presented. The paper is titled 'An Analysis of KoBART Model Performance Using the KorQuAD Dataset and the KoBERT Tokenizer'. To assess BART model performance on Korean-language datasets, the paper fine-tunes the question answering (QA) dataset KorQuAD using the pre-trained Korean KoBART model and the KoBERT tokenizer, and compares and analyses the results against the existing BERT model. By showing higher EM and F1 scores than the existing model, the research is expected to contribute to Korean natural language understanding, an active area of AI research.
