The Korean Institute of Information Scientists and Engineers conference (KCC 2021) is an information science and technology conference at which the latest research results across every area of information technology — artificial intelligence, computer systems, information security and high-assurance computing and more — are presented. The paper is titled 'A Paper Summarization Application Based on the BART Model'. It presents an application that uses a BART (Bidirectional and Auto-Regressive Transformers) based text summarization model to summarize papers and present them to users in a way that makes the content of the research easier to grasp at a glance than the original abstract. The application has users select an area of interest within computer science and then supplies a set number of recent papers from leading conferences in that area each day, together with summaries. To improve application performance in particular, the server and client are separated: on the basis of the interest area received from the client, the server crawls papers from arxiv.org, summarizes them through the BART summarization model and sends them back to the client. The application is expected to be of great help in guiding future research by allowing many researchers to keep abreast of reliable, up-to-date paper trends. http://arxiv.org/
