Top Excellence Award at the Undergraduate Paper and Capstone Design Competition of the 2019 Autumn Conference of the Korean Institute of Broadcast and Media Engineers

The Undergraduate Paper and Capstone Design Competition of the 2019 Autumn Conference, organized by the Korean Institute of Broadcast and Media Engineers, was held over two days on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 November at the 80th Anniversary Hall of Kwangwoon University.
Among 163 research entries at the competition, the paper 'Development of a Standard Korean–Dialect Conversion System', written by Sogang University Department of Computer Science & Engineering undergraduates Park Sung-gyu, Yoon Ki-young, Son Jung-yeon and Lee Ho-jae together with Professor Koo Myoung-wan of the same department, received the Top Excellence Award.

The autumn conference featured special sessions in five areas including
Founded in 1994, the Korean Institute of Broadcast and Media Engineers aims to contribute to the development of Korea's broadcasting and media industries by researching and developing the latest relevant technologies and standards required in the broadcasting environment.
