AI education at College of Computing does not stop at the college boundary. Faculty from every college on campus - humanities, business, natural sciences and engineering - take part in the AI-Centered University initiative.
The labs building Korea's national AI
In January 2026 the Sogang-Upstage consortium was selected as one of the top three developers of Korea's national generative AI model. The university takes a leading role in a KRW 165 billion sovereign AI programme.
Learn at the university, prove it in Pangyo
Opened in August 2025, the Sogang Pangyo Digital Innovation Campus is the first campus of a Korean university to be located in Pangyo Techno Valley. Together with some 100 Pangyo companies in artificial intelligence, system semiconductors and advanced mobility, we run a feedback loop that runs from industry needs surveys to capstone design, industry projects and field validation.
Computing where students can afford to fail
Sogang AI Cloud combines 148 GPUs (RTX PRO 6000 / H200 class) with 600 virtual PCs, so up to 600 students can work at the same time.
The sovereign LLM is installed on-premise and provided free of charge with no usage limit.

Each capstone design team receives a KRW 1 million external cloud voucher (120 teams a year, KRW 120 million in total)
What happens after graduation is the proof
According to the 2024 Higher Education Graduate Employment Statistics published in January 2026 by the Ministry of Education and the Korean Educational Development Institute, Sogang University recorded the highest employment rate among major four-year universities in Seoul.
